Taiyo Matsumoto's character design and focus on visual storytelling, particularly in action sequences is something I greatly admire and strive for in my own work. The sketchy line work evokes a strong sense of movement and really brings the characters to life in a unique way. I have the first two volumes but can never find them in stores and never have enough dough to order the rest of them, I think there are like eight books now! If you have a chance to check these out go for it! They are full of eye candy for visual artists and comic book enthusiasts alike to drool over.
